Not just for dogs, the annual Pet Lover Show invites you to bring your well-behaved pet to join in on the fun. This two-day exhibition features local vendors, sponsored prizes, and even a chance to compete in the President’s Choice SuperDogs Star Search. Whether your dog excels at agility or can entertain a crowd through creative tricks, this is your opportunity to showcase your furry friend’s talent and perform for a crowd. If the star search isn’t the right fit, the Pet Lover Show also features a DockDogs competition. Find out more on the official website.

The name says it all. Last year’s Pet-A-Palooza was a spectacular outdoor event in Yaletown attracting thousands of attendees, along with their furry friends of all shapes and sizes. There were plenty of exciting activities to watch and participate in, including an adorable puppy stampede, bulldog race, and specialized services such as “pawdicures” and bang trims. Best of all, the event organizers offered free admission, making it the perfect summer spectacle to check out and certainly one of the most popular local dog events. Keep checking back for the next event announcement.

While we can’t reveal the details quite yet, we’re excited to share the news that the Superior Canine Conference is returning for its second year. In 2017, we hosted 3 action-packed days of lectures and workshops featuring world renowned trainer Jerry Bradshaw. This year’s event will be even bigger and better, an ambitious feat given that the inaugural conference broke records in attendance across Canada. If you’re interested in bitework, agility, or obedience, read our recap of last year’s event and stay tuned for updates!
